LARAMIE, Wyo. (Oct. 22, 2025) – Head coach Bryan Berryhill released the 2025-26 indoor track & field schedule on Wednesday. This indoor season will hold seven regular-season meets and close with the Mountain West and NCAA championships.

Wyoming will kick off its season at home when it hosts the Power Meet on Dec. 6, inside the Hager-LeBar Indoor Track & Field Venue at War Memorial Fieldhouse. The meet will be held the same day men's basketball takes on Dartmouth, so don't miss your only chance to see Wyoming track & field at home.

Pokes will also send a group to the Sharon Colyear-Danville Season Opener on Dec. 6, in Boston, Mass. This meet will hold some of the fastest distance runners in the country, including a few of our own All-Americans from a year ago.

Wyoming won't be back in action until after the new year, when they return for the Potts Invitational, Jan. 16-17, in Boulder, Colo. This will be the first of two meets that Wyoming travels to the University of Colorado to compete. The Cowboys and Cowgirls next time in Boulder will be Feb. 6-7, when they take on the Colorado Classic.

On Jan. 23-24, Pokes will travel North for the Bobcat Challenge in Bozeman, Mont. The meet, hosted by Montana State, will run Friday and Saturday.

Wyoming will split once again when groups head to Seattle, Wash., for the Husky Classic and to Reno, Nev., for the Battle Born Classic, Feb. 13-14. Like last season, many distance runners will make the trip to Seattle while the rest of the team will head South to Reno.

Postseason action will start Feb. 26-28, at the Mountain West Indoor Championships in Reno, Nevada. The championship will be at the same facility as the Battle Born Classic, giving Wyoming a slight edge on the competition.

The indoor year will close, March 13-14, at the NCAA Indoor Championships in Fayetteville, Ark. Hosted by Arkansas, Wyoming looks to meet its winning standard at championships as it did a year ago.

Last indoor season, the Pokes were led by weight throw National Champion Daniel Reynolds. He set the championships meet record at 82' 3 ½" (25.08 meters), won the Mountain West Indoor Athlete of the Year and the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Indoor National Field Athlete of the Year award. At the Mountain West Indoor Championships, Reynolds, along with Kareem Mersal, won back-to-back titles while four other Cowboys were named to the Indoor All-Mountain West Team.
