LARAMIE – Wyoming women's golfer Kiley Reisner was named the Mountain West freshman of the month by the conference on Thursday.

In her debut with the Cowgirls, the true freshman from Northridge, Calif., finished 2-under at the 54-hole Utah Valley Wolverine Invitational to finish tied for 10th with senior teammate Meghan Vogt. UW finished second in the 10-team field and broke the program record for lowest team score.

At the Ram Classic hosted by rival Colorado State, Reisner led UW with a 17th-place finish after shooting 1-under 71 in the first round and a 74 in the rain-soaked second round. The third round of the tournament at Ptarmigan Country Club was canceled due to weather.

During the 2024-25 season, Reisner's sister, Kira Reisner, and Lucia Morelli, both earned MW freshman of the week honors.

The Cowgirls return to action Friday at the Ron Moore Intercollegiate hosted by Denver this Friday through Sunday.
