LAS VEGAS, Nev. (1/24/25) – The University of Wyoming swimming and diving teams wrapped up day one of the two-day dual meet against UNLV Friday evening in Las Vegas.
The Cowgirls had first place finishers in Rachael Horne with a time of 59.00 in the 100-yard IM and Alicia Gonzalez with a score of 307.43 on the 3-meter springboard.
Second place finishers for the Cowgirls included Taylor Craft in the 50-yard and 100-yard breaststroke with times of 30.38 and 1:05.51, Kayla Cunningham in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 58.81 and Brynlee Busskohl in the 100-yard IM with a time of 59.12.
The Cowboys had four second place finishers. Jakub Rynkiewicz logged a time of 2:42.73 in the 300-yard freestyle. Griffith Orloff swam a 58.02 in the 100-yard breaststroke. Kellen Chadderdon went 52.37 in the 100-yard IM. Bruno Grau scored a 309.45 on the 3-meter springboard and a 276.98 on the 1-meter springboard.
