BOULDER, Colo. (January 16, 2025) – The University of Wyoming track and field program returns to action in the new year as they attend the Colorado Classic inside the Colorado Indoor Practice Facility (IPF) in Boulder, Colo., Friday and Saturday. Field events start at noon on Friday while all running events take place Saturday, beginning at 11 a.m.

The Colorado Classic will be the first of two meets at Colorado for Wyoming in the indoor season. Fans can attend for free on Friday while admission requires a ticket for Saturday. A clear bag policy will be in place. Details can be found

Noon – Women's Pole Vault followed by Men
Noon – Women's Long Jump followed by Men, followed by Men's and Women's Triple Jump
2 p.m. – Women's High Jump followed by Men
2 p.m. – Women's Weight Throw followed by Men
2 p.m. – Men's Shot Put followed by Women
Saturday:
11 a.m. – 60m Hurdle Prelim followed by 60m Prelim, Mile Run, 600m, 60m Hurdles Final, 60m Final, 400m, 800m, 200m, 3000m and ending with the 4x400m Relays

Daniel Reynolds set the school, facility and Mountain West record with his NCAA leading Weight Throw of 75'-1" (28.89 meters). Senior distance runner
Ryker Holtzen broke the school 5,000-meter indoor record in Boston, Mass., with a personal best time of 13:41.39. Wyoming also posted 19 Top-3 finishes and nine personal bests on Saturday's meets.
