BOULDER, Colo. — The University of Wyoming Track & Field Teams had a full day of races at the 2024 Colorado Invitational hosted by CU on Friday and Saturday this week. After a day of throwing and jumping for the Pokes all the action was on the track on Saturday.
Ava Morgan had the best finish of the day for the Brown & Gold as she went 9.24 in the 60M Hurdles to take third in the event. Morgan also placed in 13th in the 200M dash later in the day. Jasmyne Cooper and Paige Sefried went a six-seven finish for the Cowgirls in the 800M running times of 2:16.34 and 2:16.43 respectively. Jenae Ramirez had the other top-eight finish for Wyoming on the day running a 57.47 in the 400M.

Cowboys and Cowgirls will split up next Friday and Saturday with a group heading to Seattle, Wash., and the Husky Classic hosted by the University of Washington and a group heading to Albuquerque, N.M., to partake in the Don Kirby Invite hosted by the University of New Mexico.
