SURPRISE, Arizona (12/31/24) – The University of Wyoming men's golf team had a pair of players – Brody Leid and Damon Vilkauskas – competing in the Thunderbolt Tournament this week. Both Cowboys moved up Tuesday in a competition being contested at Sterling Grove Golf + Country Club.

Leid bumped up into a tie for 13th following a final-round 72 (E). He holed a trio of birdies. Leid finished with a three-round score of 213 (-3) comprised of a 71 (-1), 70 (-2) and a 72 (E).

Vilkauskas vaulted up the leaderboard into a tie for 40th with a Tuesday 71 (-1). He carded three birdies, as well. Vilkauskas completed with a three-round score of 219 (+3), which included a 75 (+3), 73 (+1) and a 71 (-1).

The entire Wyoming team is back on the course in early February at the Arizona N.I.T.
