SURPRISE, Arizona (12/30/24) – The University of Wyoming men's golf team has a pair of players – Brody Leid and Damon Vilkauskas – competing in the Thunderbolt Tournament. Both Cowboys improved on their first-round scores Monday in a competition being contested at Sterling Grove Golf + Country Club.

Leid vaulted up into a tie for 14th following a strong second-round 70 (-2). Leid littered the card Monday with five birdies, four of which occurred on the back nine.

Vilkauskas remained steady, sitting in a tie for 54th after a Monday 73 (+1). He carded a pair of birdies, one on each nine.  

The third and final round commences at 9 a.m. on Tuesday.
