BOZEMAN, Mont. — The University of Wyoming Track & Field Teams competed at the Bobcat Challenge in a Tri Meet hosted by Montana State on Friday with the Montana Grizzlies and the Bobcats.
Mason Norman and Ryker Holtzen have formed a new one-two punch at Wyoming in the 3000M. The duo went a converted 7:58.35 and 8:01.71 with Norman leading the way and creating a new standard in Laramie in the event. Norman ends the evening with the No. 20 time in the NCAA this season.
Daniel Reynolds set a new personal best with a big toss in the Weight Throw early in the afternoon. Reynolds went 70-9.25 to win the event for the Pokes. Reynolds broke into the Mountain West all-time list at No. 4, sits at No. 6 all time at Wyoming and ends the day at No. 12 in the NCAA this season.
The Cowboys and Cowgirls defeated the University of Montana 83-60 and 81-61 respectively on their side of the meet while both the men and women fell to Montana State.
