The Wyoming Cowboy Golf Team to Play a 13-Tournament Schedule in 2023-24

Wyoming Will Host Three Tournaments in the 2024 Spring Season

Laramie, Wyo. (Aug. 22, 2023) --  The University of Wyoming Cowboy Golf Team will enter the 2023-24 season coming off a very successful season a year ago -- a season that saw them earn a postseason berth in the inaugural GOLFWEEK National Golf Invitational where they finished in second place.
 
The 2023-24 Wyoming men's golf schedule will feature some of the elite tournaments in the country.  Wyoming will play a total of 13 events in six different states -- Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawai'i, Missouri and New Mexico during the fall and spring seasons.  Included in the 13-tournament schedule will be three tournaments hosted by the Cowboys in the 2024 spring portion of the schedule.
 
The first of five fall tournaments will tee off on Sept. 6-7 at the Ram Masters Invitaitional hosted by Colorado State in Fort Collins, Colo.  That will be followed by the Gene Miranda Falcon Invitational hosted by the Air Force Academy on Sept. 10-12 at the Academy.  The William H. Tucker Invitational hosted by New Mexico (Sept. 25-26), the Mark Simpson Colorado Invitational hosted by the University of Colorado (Oct. 2-3) and the Ka'anapali Classic Collegiate Invitational (Oct. 26-28) hosted by the University of Hawai'i will round out the fall portion of the schedule.
 
The eight-tournament spring season will tee off on Jan. 29-30 in Tucson, Ariz., at the Arizona N.I.T. hosted by the University of Arizona.  The Cowboys will host the Wyoming Desert Intercollegiate in Palm Desert, Calif., on Feb. 6-8.  That will be followed by Wyoming's own Wyoming Match Play event Feb. 20-21, with the site to be announced at a later date.  The Pokes will compete in two tournaments in March when they travel to San Diego, Calif., for the Lamkin San Diego Classic (March 4-5) hosted by San Diego State and the University of San Diego followed by the Arizona Thunderbirds Intercollegiate in Tucson (March 18-19).  Wyoming will begin the month of April hosting the Wyoming Cowboy Classic in Maricopa, Ariz., (April 1-2).  The Cowboys will travel to Columbia, Mo., for the Tiger Collegiate Invitational (April 8-9) hosted by the University of Missouri.  The month of April will conclude with the Mountain West Conference Championship April 26-28 in Tucson, Ariz.
