FEDERAL WAY, Wash. (3/8/23) – The University of Wyoming diving team finished up competition at the Zone E Championships inside Weyerhaeuser King County Aquatic on Wednesday. Alicia Gonzalez and Gabriella Haigler participated in the 1-meter event.  

Gonzalez led the way for the Cowgirls. She placed 38th with a final tally of 225.75.

Haigler wasn't far behind. She took 40th having compiled a score of 212.70.

"Alicia and Gabby had good final days on 1-meter," diving head coach Mark Murdock said. "It's tough competition throughout zones, but they each kept focused and put in solid performances. I'm proud of how all the divers did throughout this week and season.

"Next year is looking bright for the Pokes."

This concludes the 2022-23 swimming & diving season.
