FEDERAL WAY, Wash. (3/6/23) – The University of Wyoming diving team completed Day 1 at the Zone E Championships inside Weyerhaeuser King County Aquatic. Alicia Gonzalez represented the lone diver competing for UW on Monday.

Gonzalez finished 36th in the 3-meter event. She compiled a score of 231.05.

"Alicia had a tough day today, but I believe she will come out stronger from this competition," diving head coach Mark Murdock said. "She has 1-meter on Wednesday, and she will be ready for it."
Women's platform and men's 3-meter go Tuesday. That will entail Wyoming's Gabriella Haigler and Nettie Knapton competing.

The Zone Championships conclude Wednesday with and women's 1-meter and men's platform. Those events will feature Gonzalez, Haigler, Natalie Six and Payton Lee.
