COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (2/3/23) – The University of Wyoming diving team completed Day 2 of the Air Force Diving Invite on Friday inside Cadet Natatorium.

"The team is showing good consistency through this tough competition," head diving coach Mark Murdock said. "Alicia led the way making finals again. Payton also had a good day of competition on 3-meter."

As stated, Alicia Gonzalez led the way again for the Cowgirls. She qualified for the finals for the second time in as many days.

Gonzalez finished 10th in 1-meter with a final tally of 252.80. Natalie Six was 14th in prelims at 224.90, while Gabriella Haigler checked in at 17th with a final score of 218.90.

Payton Lee led the way for the Cowboys. He placed 18th in prelims of 3-meter, scoring 294.10 points.

The third and final day of the Invite is Saturday. Action begins with women's platform prelims at 10 a.m.
