LARAMIE, Wyo. (2/2/23) – The University of Wyoming men's and women's swimming & diving teams were recognized Thursday. The Cowboys and Cowgirls both earned distinction as a Scholar All-America Team by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America.

The Cowgirls were one of 188 Division I teams to earn the honor for the Fall of 2022. They posted a cumulative team GPA of 3.51.

The Cowboys were one of 121 Division I teams to earn recognition. They posted a cumulative team GPA of 3.43.

In all, 803 teams, both men and women, from across Division I, II and III along with NAIA and the NJCAA achieved the honor. That equated to 479 different institutions having a team represented. Those numbers encompass a grand total of 19,426 student-athletes.
