COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (2/14/23) – Madeline Bane was recognized Tuesday. The University of Wyoming junior was honored as the Mountain West Conference Swimmer of the Week after her performance at the DU First Chance Meet.

Bane highlighted her time in Denver with a victory in the 50-yard freestyle. She clocked in with a season-best time of 24.33.

Bane added a 10th-place finish in the 100-yard freestyle, going a season-best 53.71. She also touched 11th in the 100-yard butterfly in a time of 58.95.

Wyoming is back in action this week at the Mountain West Conference Championships in Houston, Texas. The three-day meet begins Wednesday.
