LARAMIE, Wyo. — The University of Wyoming Track & Field Teams welcomed the Hardrockers of South Dakota School of Mines to Laramie and the Hager-LeBar Indoor Track & Field venue at War Memorial Fieldhouse for the annual Power Meet on Friday.
School Record
On an afternoon full of competition, Remar Pitter got the Cowboys and Cowgirls on their feet setting the school indoor record for the Long Jump. Going 7.88M/25-10.25, Pitter set the stage during the first meet of the season for the Pokes. Pitter's time is No. 2 all-time in Mountain West history according to the record books found on themw.com
Fieldhouse Record
In the second to last event of the day the Cowgirls 4x4 Relay made up of Gabby Drube, Paige Sefried, Jenae Ramirez and Taylor Weidinger went 3:52.72 to set a new Fiedlhouse record.
Wyoming Top 10
Sadie McMullen moved up on the Wyoming Top-10 list in the Long Jump to No. 4 all time with her mark of 20-2.50 and Daniel Reynolds moves onto the list in the Weight Throw with his effort of 69-0.
