COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — Sadie McMullen has been announced as the Mountain West Conference's Women's Field Athlete of the Week on Tuesday, December 12th. McMullen and the University of Wyoming Track & Field Teams hosted South Dakota School of Mines at the Power Meet in Laramie last Friday. 

In the first meet of the season, McMullen went a personal best 20-2.5 in the Long Jump and climbed the Wyoming Top-10 List to No. 4 all time in the event. In addition, the Cowgirl from Morrison, Colo., went 7.21 in the 55M Dash finals to defeat the field. 

Early in the Indoor season, McMullen ranks No. 5 nationally in the Long Jump and first in the conference in the event. 

Next up for the Pokes is the Potts Invite in Boulder, Colo., on January 12th and 13th.
