LARAMIE, Wyo. (11/7/23) – Alicia Gonzalez has led the way on the diving boards for the unbeaten University of Wyoming women's swimming and diving team. For her efforts, she was named Mountain West Conference Diver of the Week.

Gonzalez won both the 1- and 3-meter competitions against Northern Colorado on Saturday. She eclipsed the 300-point threshold in 1-meter, accumulating a final tally of 319.65, while also scoring 296.33 points in 3-meter.

This marks the second time this season Gonzalez has been honored at the league's Diver of the Week. Wyoming's divers close out their fall schedule next week at the Missouri Invite.
