Dive Completes Day 1 of Missouri Invite

COLUMBIA, Missouri (11/15/23) – The University of Wyoming dive team began competition at the Missouri Invite on Wednesday. The Cowgirls and Cowboy showed well inside the Mizzou Aquatic Center.

Women's 3-meter and men's 1-meter were contested Wednesday. Nettie Knapton had the most noteworthy day for Wyoming, as she advanced to finals and finished seventh with a final score of 274.95.

Alicia Gonzalez placed 15th after accumulating a score of 237.60. Brinkley Lewis finished 28th at 174.35. Natalie Six was 29th with a score of 171.50, while Madelynn Appelhans and Gabriella Haigler finished 31st and 32nd, respectively, with final tallies of 149.35 and 141.45.

Bruno Grau checked in at fourth in the men's 1-meter. He boasted a final score of 294.00.

Competition continues Thursday with preliminaries of the men's 3-meter and women's 1-meter.
