LARAMIE, Wyo. (10/27/23) – The University of Wyoming is set to host the Mountain West Conference Soccer Championships. The tournament begins Sunday and concludes the following Saturday with matches taking place at the Madrid Sports Complex.
San Diego State (14-3-2 overall, 9-1-1 MW, 28 points) is the top seed after claiming the conference regular-season crown. Utah State (12-7-1, 9-2-0, 27) took runner-up, and both the Aztecs and Aggies garner a bye into the semifinals Wednesday.
Boise State (10-3-6, 8-2-1, 25) checks in at No. 3. Colorado State (11-5-3, 6-3-2, 20) earned the fourth seed, while Fresno State (5-8-6, 4-4-3, 15) and Nevada (6-9-5, 4-6-1, 13) took the fifth and sixth spots, respectively.
Nevada and Boise State kick things off Sunday at 11 a.m., while Fresno State and Colorado State are slated to begin at 2 p.m. Wednesday's schedule follows the format as Sunday's, and the championship match takes place Saturday at 12 p.m.
