Wyoming Cross Country Headed East to Race Saturday

LARAMIE, Wyo. — The University of Wyoming Cross Country Team heads east to race in the Pre-Nationals Meet hosted by the University of Virginia on Saturday October 14th. 

In the final tune up race of the season before the Mountain West Conference Championship to be hosted by Boise State in Idaho on Friday, October 27th, the Pokes take on the field in Charlottesville on Saturday morning at Panorama Farms. The same course will be run on November 18th at the NCAA Championships. 

Men's 8k Blue Race (Championship Race): 9:40 a.m. EST

Women's 6k Blue Race (Championship Race): 10:30 a.m. EST

In the last race out the Cowboys were led by Mason Norman and Ryker Holtzen running 24:40.2 and 20:40.3 at the Roy Griak Invitational. Abigail Whitman led the way for the Cowgirls running a 21:48.7 in the 6K race. Whitman led the Cowgirls to an eighth place finish.
