LAS VEGAS, Nev. (1/27/23) – The University of Wyoming swimming and diving team competed at UNLV on Friday during Day 1 of a quad meet inside Jim Reitz Pool. Results from Friday were not reported or posted.

"We had some really great swims tonight," head coach Dave Denniston said. "Our guys swam tough and showcased our depth. Maisyn Klimczak did great and won the mile. Carly Palmer went a personal-best in the 100 breast. Gavin Smith had a great 200 fly, and all of our backstrokers shined today. Lauren Swartz is having a breakout meet and had our fastest 100-free split today. Kody Hollinsworth and Quinn Cynor both keep getting better every time they race. We have a big day ahead of us tomorrow."

The quad meet wraps up Saturday. Action begins at 11 a.m.
