LARAMIE, Wyo. (June 8, 2022) – The Wyoming Cowgirl volleyball team will be traveling abroad to Croatia and Greece on a European tour June 12-23. This will be the third tour for the Cowgirls under Head Coach Chad Callihan and first since the summer of 2018.
After departing from the United States June 12, Wyoming will arrive in Zagreb, Croatia June 13 for some sightseeing in the capital of Croatia. The morning of June 14 will provide the first of five matches for the Cowgirls while their overseas. After the match, UW will travel to Split where they will do some sightseeing and will play an evening match against ZOK Split on the 15th.
June 16, the Cowgirls will play a second match against ZOK before departing for Dubrovnik for a pair of days of sightseeing around the Croatian city. June 18, the Cowgirls will leave for Athens, Greece before departing for Nafplio, Greece. After a day of sightseeing in Nafplio, they will travel back to Athens June 20 for sightseeing and a match against Milonas.
June 21 will provide more sightseeing for the team before another evening contest against Markopoulo. From there, the Cowgirls will go to Aigina Island June 22 before departing Greece back to the USA June 23.
UW is in the midst of practice in preparation for the trip. The Cowgirls are entering into their 10th season under coach Callihan and welcomes in a total of seven newcomers to the 2022 roster and has eight returnees from last season.

Itinerary
June 12: Leave the USA for Zagreb, Croatia
June 13: Arrive in Zagreb. Late afternoon and evening sightseeing in the capital of Croatia with a guided walking tour.
June 14: Morning match in Zagreb. Leave after the match for Split, Croatia.
June 15: Sightseeing in Split, Croatia. Evening match vs. ZOK Split.
June 16: Morning match vs. ZOK Split then leave for Dubrovnik, Croatia. Afernoon and evening sightseeing in Dubrovnik.
June 17: Sightseeing in Dubrovnik.
June 18: Leave for Athens, Greece. Upon arrival leave for Nafplio, Greece
June 19: Sightseeing around Nafplio, Greece
June 20: Leave for Athens, sightseeing in Athens. Match that evening vs. Milonas
June 21: Sightseeing in Athens, Match that evening vs. Markopoulo.
June 22: Sightseeing on Aigina Island.
June 23: Leave Athens for the USA
