LARAMIE, Wyo. (3/2/22) – The Mountain West Conference announced its Academic All-Mountain West Conference list of honorees Wednesday. A total of 85 University of Wyoming student-athletes were recognized.
In order to be considered, a student-athlete must meet three requirements. They must have completed at least one term at the member institution, attained a GPA of 3.0 or higher and played in at least 50 percent of their team's games.
Women's soccer led the way for Wyoming with 23 of its players earning the honor. Football wasn't far behind with 22 being recognized. Women's cross-country had 16 that made the list, while volleyball and men's cross-country had 13 and 11, respectively.
