Wyoming to Host NCAA Selection Show Watch Party, Sunday, March 13

Event to be held at Marian H. Rochelle Gateway Center

Laramie, Wyo. (March 11, 2022) -- Head coach Jeff Linder and the University of Wyoming men's basketball team will host an NCAA Selection Show Watch Party on Sunday, March 13 beginning at 3:30 p.m. Mountain Time in the Marian H. Rochelle Gateway Center located on the corner of 22nd Street and Grand Avenue in Laramie, Wyo.. The event is free and open to the public and media.
 
Doors at the Gateway Center will open at 3:30 p.m., with the NCAA Selection Show to be televised live starting at 4 p.m., Mountain Time on CBS.  Seating for fans will be first come, first served.  There will be light snacks and soft drinks available courtesy of the Cowboy Joe Club and UW Athletics.  There will also be a cash bar available for fans.
 
Fans will have an opportunity to talk with the players and coaches at the event.  Media members will also have an opportunity to conduct in-person interviews with players and coaches.
 
The Wyoming Cowboys enter tonight's semifinal match-up with the Boise State Broncos with a 25-7 overall record.  Tonight's Wyoming-Boise State game will be televised live on CBS Sports Network beginning at 7:30 p.m., M.T. (6:30 p.m., Pacific Time) from Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas.  The Cowboys recorded 24 wins during the regular season this year for the most regular-season wins since the 1951-52 season.
 
Wyoming last appeared in the NCAA Tournament in 2015 after winning the Mountain West Conference Tournament Championship.
