ABOUT THE COWGIRLS
Wyoming (1-2) is coming off its first win of the season and the first win of the Heather Ezell Era Friday with a 68-45 victory over Denver. Allyson Fertig recorded a career-high 21 rebounds in the win, the fourth-most for a single game in program history. It is also the first time since current Wyoming assistant, Fallon Lewis, that a Cowgirl has recorded 20-plus rebounds in a game in nearly nine years.
Fertig, who had 13 points in the game, was one of four Cowgirls in double figures in the win. Tommi Olson also added season-bests against the Pioneers as she grabbed eight rebounds, had three assists and three steals. The three steals from Olson, moved her into a tie for 10th-place on the all-time career steals list in program history with 151 and moved her past her mother, Elsa (1981-84), on the all-time list at Wyoming.
