LARAMIE, Wyo. (Oct. 10, 2022) – The Wyoming Cowgirl basketball team will be on a three-city outreach tour of this state this weekend as fans will get their first chance to see the 2022-23 Cowgirls in person.

UW will begin in Casper at Kelly Walsh High School Saturday, October 15 from 4-6 p.m., for an open practice. Following the practice, an autograph session will be held. Then, Sunday, Oct. 16, the Cowgirls will be in Douglas at the high school from 9-10 a.m., for a meet-and-greet and autograph session with the team. Finally, the Cowgirls will head to Storey Gym in Cheyenne Sunday from 1 to 3 p.m., for an open practice, followed again by an autograph session. All three events are free to the public to attend.

Wyoming, which has Mountain West Media Day Thursday, Oct. 13, opens the season with a pair of home exhibitions. The Cowgirls welcome Colorado Christian for a 6:30 p.m., contest Oct. 28 and will then host Sioux Falls at 2 p.m., November 5. The Heather Ezell Era tips-off the regular season with a Nov. 11 contest at North Dakota.
