LARAMIE, Wyo. (Sept. 24, 2021) – They Wyoming Cowgirl basketball team will host an open practice Saturday, October 9 at Western Wyoming CC in Rock Springs.

The outreach event is free and open to the public. Doors will open at 12:30 p.m., while the practice will be from 1 to 3 p.m. After the event, the defending Mountain West Tournament Champions will have autographed posters available to fans.

The Cowgirls officially open practice September 28 and their first exhibition of the season will be Oct. 29 against Colorado Christian in Laramie. Wyoming's second exhibition will be November 5 at home against Colorado-Colorado Springs. Nov. 5 will be the banner reveal and ring ceremony for the Cowgirls.

UW opens the regular season Nov. 9 at 11 a.m., against CSU Pueblo at home. The Cowgirls tip-off Mountain West play December 28 at San Diego State.
