LARAMIE, Wyo. — The 2021-22 University of Wyoming's Women's Golf schedule has been released as announced by Head Coach Josey Stender on Monday August 30th. The Cowgirls 2021-22 schedule features 11 tournaments including UW hosting its annual Wyoming Cowgirl Classic April 4-5 in Maricopa, Arizona. 
 
"This is one of the most competitive schedules that we have had in a long time. It really sets us up for the bigger picture for some of our team goals." Stender said "I have shared that excitement with the girls and they are all in to do what they need to do to be competitive at all the events."
 
The season will tee off Monday, Sept. 13 – Tuesday, Sept. 14 at the UVU Hobble Creek Fall Classic in Provo, Utah. The Cowgirls will then head to Coeur d'Alene, Idaho for the Coeur d'Alene Resort Collegiate Invitational on Sunday, Sept. 19 – Tuesday, Sept. 21. The fall portion of their schedule will be capped off by three straight tournaments in Colorado including the CSU Colonel Wollenberg Ram Classic on Monday, Oct. 18 – Tuesday, Oct. 19.
 
The Cowgirls will then return to action on Monday, Feb. 14 – Tuesday, Feb. 15 at the Mountain Classic Match Play in Palm Desert, California. After that they return to California on Monday, Feb. 28 – Tuesday, March 1 for the Gold Rush tournament. 
 
The season is culminated with the Mountain West Championships Monday, April 18 – Wednesday, April 20 in Rancho Mirage, CA. Last season the Cowgirls finished ninth at the MW Championships and return three golfers from that starting lineup.
