LARAMIE, Wyo. (March 24, 2021) – After being off last weekend, the Wyoming soccer team will return to the pitch in its final two-home matches. They will host the Colorado College on Friday followed by the Air Force Falcons on Sunday. Both matches are scheduled for 1 p.m. at the Louis S. Madrid Complex. It will be the final home matches for seniors

Wyoming enters the week with a 1-3-0 overall and in MW action. The Cowgirls had its game against Colorado State due to COVID 19 issues within the Rams program. Prior to that, they faced Air Force and Colorado Colorado College

Hannah Lee has played in all four matches in net, has 17 saves and a 1.00 goals against average. Sophomore Alex has played in four matches and has 15 saves. Warner leads the way in minutes played with 373 followed by senior
Elle Webber leads the way in minutes played with 358 minutes on the season.
Colorado College comes in to Friday's match with a 3-1-0 record. Last time out, the Tigers earned a 2-1 win over Utah State in overtime. Forward Jacqui Hand and Kiley Suter each lead the way with two goals and four points each. Midfielder Abby Hubbard has a team-high three assists. Goalie Ally Wakeman has played in all four matches and has a 1.93 goals against average.
They return nine starters and 17 letterwinners to a team that went 10-7-0 and 5-6-0 in the league a season ago. Colorado College is coached by Geoff Bennett who is in his 17th season. This is the 15th meeting between the two teams. Colorado College leads the series 10-5-0.The last time the two teams met was March 15, 2021. CC defeated the Cowgirls 2-1 in Colorado Springs.
Air Force enters the Thursday's match with a 1-3-0 mark and will face Colorado prior to Wyoming. Last time out, they lost to New Mexico, 4-0, in Albuquerque.Two Falcons, Natalie Gutierrez and Tatiana Limon, each have one goal apiece. Goalie Danielle Katz has played all four matches in goal.
The Falcons return eight starters and 16 letterwinners to a team that went 10-7-1 overall and 5-6-0 in the Mountain West a season ago. Air Force is coached by Larry Friend who is in his 12th season with the program. This is the 25th meeting between the two teams. Wyoming leads the series 13-10-2. The last time the two teams met was March 11, 2021 with the Falcons earning a 2-1 double overtime victory.
