Laramie,Wyo. (Oct. 10, 2021) –  The Mountain West Conference and FOX Sports announced on Sunday the game time for the Saturday, Oct. 16 game between the Wyoming Cowboys and Fresno State Bulldogs.  The game will kick off at 1:30 p.m., Mountain Time from Wyoming's War Memorial Stadium and will be televised on FS2.
 
Wyoming will  enter the game with a 4-1 overall record and an 0-1 record in the Mountain West.  Fresno State will bring a 4-2 overall record and a 1-1  MW record into Saturday's game.

Two Maxwell Award Candidates Will be Featured on Saturday
Two of the featured players in this Saturday's game between the Cowboys and Bulldogs will be Wyoming running back Xazavian Valladay and Fresno State quarterback Jake Haener.  Both Valladay and Haener are on the 2021 Maxwell Award Watch List.  The Maxwell Award is presented annually to the outstanding player in college football.
 
Cowboys Have Enjoyed Great Success at Home the Last Six Seasons
Wyoming returns home to War Memorial Stadium this Saturday looking to continue the success it has enjoyed over the past six seasons.  Wyoming has won 76.7 percent of its home games since the start of the 2016 season, building a record of 23 wins against only 7 losses.
