COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (January 21, 2021) – The University of Wyoming men's and women's swimming and diving programs were named to the Scholar All-America Team by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America for the exemplary performance in the classroom during the 2020 Fall semester.

A total of 45 Cowgirls earned a composite gpa of 3.54 in the fall, while 23 members of the men's squad completed the semester with a 3.35 team grade point average.

Swimmers and divers showed remarkable resilience in the classroom this semester, all during a global pandemic upending much of their academic and athletic schedules. More than 450 institutions were named to the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America's Scholar All-America team for their grades during the Fall 2020 semester.

"Academics and education continue to be the top priority of our swimming and diving program," head coach Dave Denniston said. "Thanks to the amazing support of our Office of Academic Support, the athletes have been able to continue getting their education at the highest level. I'm really proud of the 68 members of our team who continue to work so hard."
