How has practice and training differed from high school to college?
The training is a lot more intense.

What are you most looking forward to going into your fist season at UW?
I'm looking forward to making new friends on the team and sharpening all of my skills.

What is one thing you learned in your high school career that will help you to compete at the college level?
That nothing is ever given to you. You have to earn it.

What is your favorite memory from your high school career?
My favorite memory is the bonds I made with my coaches.

Do your model style after any other wrestlers?
I like to think of my wrestling style as unique and not modeled after any one person.

What's the biggest goal you have set for yourself in your first year at UW?
My biggest goal is to improve and fight for a starting position.

With your senior season state tournament canceled, what things did you so to stay in shape and stay competition ready?
I was in the wrestling room everyday with my coach or a teammate.

Did you do anything to make up for the lost state tournament?
I trained to make up for the lost chance.

With high finishes in national tournaments like UWW Cadet Trails and Fargo, how do you think that high level of competition helped you to prepare for your first year at UW?
It gave me an insight to the type of elite competition that happens every day in a college room.

Do you have any pre-match or pre-tournament rituals and/or superstitions?
I always wear the same shorts for competition.
Why did you decide to come to UW?
I decided to come to UW because it seemed like a place that I belonged and somewhere I could grow and learn.
