Football 9/29/2020 11:23:00 AM

A banner week in the NFL for the 14 former Cowboys that suited up for their respective teams. The Pokes in the Pros accounted for seven total touchdowns and two interceptions. The highlights kept on coming and we detail them right here.

Logan Wilson made his impact early with a first quarter interception of Carson Went and the Philadelphia Eagles, it was the 2020 3rd Round draft pick's first career pick in the NFL. Wilson made five tackles for the Bengals as the game ended in a 23-23 tie with the Eagles. Marcus Epps suited up on the other side of the ball at the safety position. Epps made one tackle and had one pass break up of Joe Burrow in the end zone to save a touchdown.

Moving over to the 3-0 Buffalo Bills, Josh Allen continues to shine in his third year in the league. Allen posted his third-consecutive week with 300+ yards passing and posted 4 touchdowns through the air and added on one on the ground. Down, 28-32 Allen led the Bills on a game-winning drive 75 yards down the field, capping off the drive with a three-yard TD pass to Tyler Kroft for the win. Since the start of the 2018 season, Allen leads the league with 12 games accounting for at least one passing touchdown and one rushing touchdown. After three weeks, Allen is the only quarterback in the league to rank among the top two in the following categories… No. two in passing yards with 1,038, No. two in passing TDs with 10, and No. two in passer raring at 124.8.

Brian Hill found the end zone for the first time this season, and the fourth time in his four-year career. Hill blew past the Chicago Bears defense en route to a 35-yard rushing score. He finished the game with 58 yards on the ground and 22 yards on one reception. Hill was joined on the field with the falcons by 2020 rookie Tyler Hall. Hall suited up for the first time in his young career and made an appearance with the Falcons special teams unit. Hill and Hall matched up against former Cowboy Tashaun Gipson. Gipson had six tackles for the Bears and picked off Matt Ryan with 1:14 left to go in the game to seal the victory for the Bears, 30-26.

The Seattle Seahawks found themselves in a shootout with the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday afternoon. Jacob Hollister reeled in his first touchdown of the 2020 season on a one-yard pass from Russell Wilson. Hollister later added a catch on a two-point conversion late in the fourth quarter to put the Seahawks up by seven, and that's how the game finished. A 38-31 win and the Seahawks improved to 3-0.

Andrew Wingard and the Jacksonville Jaguars took center stage with a Thursday Night Football matchup with the Miami Dolphins. Wingard made the start at Safety for the second week in a row and had three tackles in the Jaguars 13-31 loss.

Chase Roullier made his third start of the 2020 season on Sunday for the Washington Football Team as they lost 20-34 to the Cleveland Browns.

Rico Gafford made his first appearance on the active roster for the Las Vegas Raiders this weekend. Gafford appeared on special teams for the Raiders and had one kick return for 12 yards in the 20-36 loss to the New England Patriots. Cassh Maluia was on the winning side of the ball vs. Gafford and the Raiders and played in 55% of the Patriots special teams snaps.

Mike Purcell has become a staple on the Denver Broncos defensive line. Purcell recorded two tackles and made his third start of the year in the Broncos 10-28 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Carl Granderson recorded one pass break up in the New Orleans Saints 30-37 loss to the Green Bay Packers on Sunday Night Football.

The San Francisco 49ers improved to 2-1 on the season as they defeated the New York Giants 36-9. Mark Nzeocha played all of his snaps on special teams for the 49ers.

Eddie Yarbrough was inactive for the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday.
