1) What are you going to miss the most from your time at UW?
The thing I am going to miss the most from my time at UW is my teammates and the competitive aspect to collegiate sports. Having a group of people working together and feeding off each other to make everyone's goals come true is something very special, especially when you have a situation like track where your teammates become your competition once individual races start.
2) What is your favorite memory as a student-athlete at UW?
My favorite memory as a student athlete at UW was when our 4x4 relay placed top three (second) at the Mountain West Indoor Conference Championships in 2019.
3) What does it mean to you to have a degree from UW?
My degree that I've gotten from UW means that I get to begin my career as my life as a student comes to a close. For certain certifications that I need as well as the overall qualification for my desired profession, I need a degree. Being able to obtain my bachelors here puts me one step closer to achieving my goals that I continue to strive for in my life after track and field
4) Is there anyone you would like to thank, either here at UW or from home, as you graduate?
I would like to thank my family, friends, teammates, and coaches who have, over my entire track career, made me able to get to where I am and accomplish all that I have.
5) What are your plans for the future?
My plans for the future are to become a collegiate strength and conditioning coach.
6) What advice would you give to incoming student-athletes?
Keep working and use your resources. UW offers a variety of recourses ranging from academic help to mental health needs as well as great resources to help with physical health and nutrition. Everything offered is there for you to use, don't be afraid to ask for help.
