LARAMIE, Wyo. (April 24, 2020) – Starting on Monday, April 27, Cowgirl basketball fans can help choose the top play from the 2019-20 season by voting on Twitter at @wyo_wbb. Each day, there will be a poll open between two plays, and the bracket will go from 16 plays down to one, as voted on by the fans.

Among the 16 plays are steals leading to buckets, backdoor passes, and-one plays and buzzer-beaters. The plays are all available to watch embedded below.

The Cowgirls ended the 2019-20 season with a 17-12 overall record and a 12-6 ledger in the Mountain West. Wyoming had three scorers average at least 10.0 points per game for the first time since 2015-16. A pair of Cowgirls earned all-Mountain West honors, and head coach Gerald Mattinson set the program record for wins by a first-year head coach.

Wyoming won six of its last seven games of the season, reaching the Mountain West Tournament semifinals for the third-consecutive season. Senior Taylor Rusk reached both the 1,000 point and 300 assist milestones during the season, becoming just the fifth Cowgirl to have reach both marks.
