LARAMIE, Wyo. (Dec. 30, 2020) – The Wyoming Cowboy wrestling program on Wednesday announced the complete schedule for the 2020-21 season. Wyoming adds four road events to their schedule to accompany their three home meets.

After opening their season at home against Northern Colorado on Sunday, January 3 at 2 p.m. MT, the Pokes will hit the road for three straight road meets.
The Cowboys will travel to Columbia, Missouri on Friday, January 8 where they will take on both Missouri and Central Michigan. The Tigers took last season's meeting when Wyoming and Missouri faced each other at the South Beach Duals.

On Saturday, January 16 the Cowboys will be on the road again to take on Fresno State for their second Big 12 dual of the season. The Bulldogs beat the Cowboys last season in Laramie.

Wyoming will have a second three team event on Saturday, January 23. The Pokes will square off against host team Utah Valley and Arizona State. The Cowboys defeated Utah Valley last season 37-9 in Laramie.

The Pokes will then return home on Saturday, January 30 to host Big 12 opponent Air Force. Last season Wyoming took down Air Force 21-12 as well as winning their last matchup in Laramie during the 2018-19 season.

The Pokes will host West Virginia on Saturday, February 6 in another Big 12 dual. The Mountaineers took last season's meeting in Morgantown. The Pokes took the last dual in Laramie in 33-15 on January 27, 2019.

After their final home meet of the season, the Cowboys will take part in the Cowboy Challenge hosted by Oklahoma State on Sunday, February 14. Also attending the event will be Missouri, West Virginia and Central Oklahoma.

Times for the duals other than UNC will also be released at a later date.

Tickets will not be sold for any other UW home athletic events through at least Jan. 8, which is the date the current public health orders are set to run through.
