Logan Wilson and the Cincinnati Bengals played host to the 5-1 Tennessee Titans on Sunday afternoon. The 2020 third-round draft pick made two total tackles and recorded the first sack of his NFL career in the Bengals 31-20 win.
A pair of former teammates took the field in Buffalo as Josh Allen and the Bills faced off against the New England Patriots and Cassh Maluia. Allen went 11-for-18 for 154 yards with 23 yards on the ground and one touchdown for the Bills. Maluia played all of his snaps on special teams for the Patriots and did not record any stats. Allen and the Bills took the win 24-21 over their AFC East foe and improved to 6-2 on the season.
The Atlanta Falcons matched up against the Carolina Panthers on Thursday Night Football. Brian Hill and Tyler Hall were both active for the Falcons. Hill rushed 11 times for 55 yards and added nine yards on two receptions wile Hall saw action on special teams. The Falcons walked out of Charlotte with the 25-17 win.
Carl Granderson and Tashaun Gipson played in an overtime thriller in the Windy City as the New Orleans Saints and Chicago Bears matched up on Sunday afternoon. Granderson picked up one total tackle as Gipson wrapped up eight Toal tackles playing in 73 total defensive snaps. The Saints picked up the 26-23 overtime win and improved to 5-2 while the Bears sit at 5-3 eight games in to the season.
Jacob Hollister and the Seattle Seahawks kept up their winning ways on Sunday afternoon. The Seahawks moved to 6-1 on the season as Hollister hauled in one catch for six yards in the 37-27 win over the San Francisco 49ers. Mark Nzeocha remains on the IR for San Francisco.
Sunday Night Football featured the Philadelphia Eagles and the Dallas Cowboys in an NFC East showdown. Marcus Epps and the Eagles used their home field advantage to get the 23-9 win, while Epps recorded one tackle.
Rico Gafford was inactive for the Raiders on Sunday as they defeated the Cleveland Browns 16-6.
Chase Roullier and Andrew Wingard were on bye weeks for their respective clubs in week eight.
Mike Purcell's Denver Broncos notched the come-from-behind 31-30 win over the Los Angeles Chargers. Purcell remains out for the season.
