Laramie, Wyo. (June 18, 2019) --  For the second straight year, University of Wyoming Athletics, the McMurry Companies and David Street Station are joining together to conduct Casper's Official University of Wyoming Pep Rally at David Street Station in Casper, Wyo.  This year's event will be held on Thursday, June 20.  Fans are encouraged to arrive at 5:30 p.m.  The evening's program will begin at 6:00 p.m.
 
University of Wyoming Interim President Neil Theobald, Athletics Director Tom Burman, Wyoming head football coach Craig Bohl, head men's basketball coach Allen Edwards and head women's basketball coach Gerald Mattinson will all be in attendance to speak at the event.  University of Wyoming Foundation President and CEO Ben Blalock will emcee the event.  UW student-athletes, the Western Thunder Marching Band and UW's Spirit Squad, including Pistol Pete, will also be taking part in the event.
 
Student-athletes will throw out t-shirts.  There will be fun for the whole family.  At the conclusion of the event, coaches and student-athletes will be available for a few minutes to meet with fans.
 
Pack your chairs or blankets for the lawn and don't forget to wear your brown and gold!

The following day on Friday, June 21, the Cowboy Joe Club-sponsored Ron Richardson Memorial Golf Tournament is scheduled as part of the Cowboy Joe Club Ford Golf Series.  That tournament will be played at the Casper Country Club, with lunch beginning at Noon and a shotgun start at 1 p.m.  UW Athletics Director Tom Burman will also speak at Friday's golf tournament luncheon.
