FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. (March 11, 2019) – Three Cowgirls and one Cowboy competed on Monday on the 1-meter and 3-meter boards to begin the first day of the 2019 NCAA Zone E Championships.
Senior
Ryan Russi began the competition in the 1-meter event. He would score 263.10 in the preliminaries to place 20th and right out of the finals cut.
In the 3-meter event, three Cowgirls competed on the board but didn't advance to the finals. Senior
Peyton GrandPre was the top finisher on the day with a score of 236.05. Fellow senior
CeeJay Harris followed with a score of 212.10, while freshman
McKenna Houlihan recorded a mark of 185.15.
Tomorrow's events will include the women's one-meter and the men's three-meter. Both prelims are scheduled to begin at 12:30 p.m. MT while the finals are scheduled for 2:20 p.m. and 3:10 p.m. A link to live results can be found at gowyo.com.
