A week after earning his first NFL start,
Josh Allen recorded his first NFL win, as he rushed for two touchdowns and added another through the air in a 27-6 win over the previously unbeaten Minnesota Vikings.
The seventh-overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft, Allen went 15-of-22 passing for 196 yards with a score and no interceptions, while adding 39 yards rushing and two touchdowns against the Vikings. He became just the third rookie quarterback in the Super Bowl era to record at least two rushing touchdowns and one passing touchdown in the first half of a game, and he became the first Buffalo rookie quarterback to win his first road start since 2007.
"For the University of Wyoming to have a quarterback on that kind of stage go against that kind of defense," said Wyoming Head Coach
Craig Bohl in his weekly press conference Monday, "it's heartwarming for me as a coach to know that, here's a guy that came from off the beaten path, and we had a a part in developing him, and he had a big part in developing our program. I think the future looks bright for the Bills."
In other action by former Cowboys in the NFL, Chase Roullier switched positions on the offensive line, as he moved from his natural position of center to left guard and helped Washington rack up 386 yards of total offense on the way to a 31-17 win over the Green Bay Packers. Tashaun Gipson started at safety and made six tackles and defended a pass against the Tennessee Titans.
A total of 11 former Cowboys are currently listed on NFL rosters. A full list of performances by former Cowboys in the NFL is found below.
