GREELEY, Colo. (Sept. 20, 2018) – Wyoming women's swimming and diving opened up the dual season with a 155-145 victory over the Northern Colorado Bears on Thursday afternoon.
"I think the meet went pretty well. We pulled it off 155-145," head coach
Dave Denniston said. "Our freshmen class really stepped up and swam great.
Lainee Jones was a rock star on the freestyle events and
Andrea Niemann won the 200 backstroke and did a nice job for us today. Overall, the freshmen class raced hard as well as the whole team.
The divers scored points for us as well and Kyle (Bogner) continues to do a good job. I was happy with today. Saw some areas where we can improve and looking to get some speed, because they are obviously in great shape."
