Coach's Corner:  Quotes from University of Wyoming Director of Golf and Head Men's Golf Coach Joe Jensen.

"Coming off last week, I feel good and am really proud of the kids for a second-place finish," said Jensen.  "I love the fact that we had a chance to win, and it was great for our kids to gain that experience.  I love the fact that all the guys competed well on the final day with the pressure of leading the tournament heading into that final round.

"What we want to do this week is stick with our consistent process.  We've had a good week of school.  We'll have a good week of prep leading up to this tournament.  We are just trying to create a consistent routine week in and week out -- don't get too high or too low.

"It has been a good, busy week.  We expect a lot from our players academically, as well as on the golf course, so they have been busy with school, which is good.  We've had a good week of practice and that will segue into some good prep for the CSU tournament.

"This is another really good tournament field.  I love our fall schedule.  I love it being regional.  This upcoming few days will be fun.  We'll practice Friday and Saturday.  The guys will get to enjoy the football game here on Saturday.  We have a donor dinner Saturday night and then off we go on Sunday morning for the practice round.  We're only able to do that because it is a regional event.  I also feel the regional nature of our fall schedule helps our guys with school.  It gives them an opportunity to get off to a good start to the semester."
