LARAMIE, Wyo. (March 16, 2018) – The Wyoming women's basketball will have a match-up with the UC Davis Aggies in the second round of the 2018 Women's National Invitation Tournament on Sunday afternoon. In an agreement with the WNIT, the game has been moved to a 1 p.m., M.T. start time. The game was originally scheduled for 2 p.m. Live stats, video and audio can be found on the GoWyo.com website.
The Cowgirls enter the contest with a 22-10 overall record after a 67-59 victory over New Mexico State on Thursday night in the opening round. Wyoming is now 14-9 all-time in WNIT play and the 22 wins on the season is tied for seventh most all-time in program history.

Liv Roberts recorded a career-high 28 points along with six rebounds. Sophomore
Taylor Rusk followed with 16 points while junior
Bailee Cotton chipped in ten points and seven rebounds. Senior
Natalie Baker finished with a game-high eight rebounds. The Cowgirls shot 23-of-41 (.561) from the field and 15-of-19 (.789) from the charity stripe. UW out rebounded the Aggies, 33-24, but committed 17 turnovers.
Roberts is also averaging a team-high 14.1 points plus 6.0 rebounds per contest, which ranks 11
th and 16
th in overall games, respectively in the MW. She is followed Rusk who is adding 10.2 points and 3.0 assists, while Cotton is chipping in 8.3 points and a team-high 6.2 boards per game. UW is shooting 689-of-1634 (.422) from the field and 227-606 (.375) from beyond the arc. The Cowgirls are also outscoring opponents 61.4 -56.7 and out rebounding teams 33.7-31.4.
UC Davis is 26-6 overall and finished first in the Big West with a 14-2 mark. Last time out, the Aggies won its first round game, 82-62, against Idaho. Redshirt Junior Morgan Bertsch is averaging a team-high 19.8 points while adding 4.4 boards. Senior Pele Gianotti brings down a team-high 5.8 boards and adds 10.8 points per contest. As a squad, the Aggies are shooting 860-of-1830 (.470), averaging 71.9 points and 35.1 rebounds per contest. This will be the first ever meeting between the two schools. UCD is coached by Jennifer Gross who is in her seventh season as the head of the program.
Tickets are priced at $13/adult & $9/youth, with limited courtside seats also available for $25. Tickets can be purchased online, over the phone at 307-766-7220 or in person at the Wyoming Athletic Ticket Office. They will be open on Saturday from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. and will open up again on Sunday at 10 a.m.
Student tickets will also be available for $5/ticket. Students would need to show their WYO Wild Bunch App or a valid student ID to purchase. Students can purchase these tickets in person at the Wyoming Athletic Ticket Office.
