LARAMIE, Wyo. (March 13, 2018) – Sophomore diver Karla Contreras will compete this week at the 2018 NCAA Division I Women's Swimming and Diving Championships. The championships will be held March 15-18 at the McCorkle Aquatic Pavilion in Columbus, Ohio. The Ohio State University and the Greater Columbus Sports Commission will serve as co-hosts.

Contreras qualified on the one-meter springboard, three-meter springboard and platform last week at the NCAA Zone E Championships. She also placed 22nd on the three-meter and 37th on the platform. Contreras is the first Cowgirl in history to earn an NCAA bid in all three diving events in back-to-back seasons.

ESPNU will broadcast live the championship finals session Friday starting at 3 p.m. MT. The finals session on Saturday will be streamed live by ESPN3 starting at 4 p.m. MT. All sessions not broadcast by either ESPNU or ESPN3 will be streamed live on the NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships microsite at www.ohiostatebuckeyes.com.
