Cowgirl Basketball Adds McKinley Bradshaw to the Program

LARAMIE, Wyo. (November 16, 2018) – Wyoming Cowgirl basketball head coach Joe Legerski announced the signing of McKinley Bradshaw on Friday. Bradshaw is a guard from Lyman, Wyo.
 
"We are extremely pleased to add McKinley Bradshaw to the Wyoming program," Legerski said. "McKinley is a competitor that will bring a championship attitude to our program. McKinley has a skill set that will allow her to compete for playing time early in her college career."
 
Bradshaw is a three-year letterwinner in basketball at Lyman High School. She has earned all-state and all-conference honors all three years of her high school career so far. Bradshaw was named the Gatorade Player of the Year in 2018 as he led the state in scoring, averaging 23.3 points per game. She also chipped in 10.7 rebounds per game and 3.1 assist per contest. Defensively, she averaged 5.4 steals and 1.4 blocks per game.
 
Bradshaw is also a decorated multi-sport athlete, with four letters in volleyball and three in track & field. This season, her volleyball team went undefeated on its way to a state title as she earned all-state and all-conference honors. In track & field, Bradshaw is a three-time state champion in the high jump, and won state titles in the shot put and discus as a junior.
 
Academically, Bradshaw is a member of the National Honor Society and has been on Lyman High School's honor roll each year of her academic career. She served on the student council as a sophomore. Bradshaw is the daughter of Clinton and Kristin Bradshaw, and she has seven siblings. Her mother played basketball at Rick's College, her brother Bransen played rugby at BYU and her aunt Jolene ran track at Rick's College.
