COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (Nov. 13, 2018) -- For the first time in her career, freshman diver
McKenna Houlihan was named Mountain West Conference Diver of the Week. It's the first time since Feb. 6, 2018 when
Karla Contreras won the honor.
Houlihan finished second in both the 1-meter and 3-meter boards in the victory over Idaho on Saturday. From Henderson, Nev., she finished with season best scores of 268.95 in the 1-meter and 263.77 in the 3-meter. With the result in the 1-meter, she would meet the qualifying standard.
The divers will be back in action on Thursday-Saturday at the Mizzou Invite. The prelims will begin at 10 a.m. MT the first two days and 9:30 a.m. on Saturday.
