DENVER, Colo. (Oct. 30, 2018) --  For the first time this season, senior Ryan Russi was selected as the Western Athletic Conference Diver of the Week. It's the third time in his career he has earned the honor.

Russi swept both diving events in last Saturday's dual against Denver. A senior from Murrieta, Calif, he finished first in both dives with a score of 273.23 in the 1-meter and 303.83 in the 3-meter. He finished at least 60 points better than the runner-up in both dives. 

The Cowboys will be back in action on Friday as they host the Colorado School of Mines. The meet is scheduled for 4 p.m. MT at Corbett Pool.
