The Wyoming Cowboys announced game times and television coverage for the upcoming 2017-18 season on Thursday. The announcement came in connection with the Mountain West Conference and its network television partners announcing the 2017-18 conference television package.
The Cowboys will be featured on television 13 times during the regular season, starting with the Cowboys hosting San Diego State in the Mountain West opener on Saturday, Dec. 27 on ESPN3.
Wyoming is scheduled to appear on CBS Sports Network four times during the regular season including the first "Border War" matchup of the season on Jan. 13. The Pokes will also be featured on the network on Jan. 3 at Nevada, Feb.10 at UNLV and at San Diego State on Valentine's Day.
One home game was moved to a different date from the original schedule released in late June to accommodate AT&T SportsNet television coverage. The Cowboys home game against New Mexico was moved to Tuesday, Feb. 20. It was originally set for Wednesday, Feb. 21. Other games on AT&T SportsNet includes home contest against Boise State on Jan. 6 and Fresno State on Feb. 3. The Cowboys will play road contests featured on the network at Colorado State on Jan. 31 and at Boise State on March 3.
The Pokes will also be featured on the ESPN family of networks three times. The Pokes will be on ESPNU on Jan. 24 hosting Nevada and on Feb. 24 at Fresno State on either ESPNU or ESPN3, in addition to the San Diego State game in December.
The Mountain West Network on Stadium will carry one conference contest that features the Pokes' road bout at New Mexico on Wednesday, Jan. 10.
All home game times for the Cowboys with the exception of the Dec. 12 game against Eastern Washington have been set.
