last week in a pair of tough tournaments. He tied for seventh at the Duck
Invite with an even-par 213, including a 68 (-3) in his final round. McCullough
followed it up at The Goodwin where he tied for 13th with a 214 (+4). Senior

The Cattail course at Whirlwind is a par-72 track with a length
of 7,334 yards. The Cowboys posted one of their best finishes of the season
last year when they hosted the Cowboy Classic. UW finished third out of the

mark of 843 (-21). Wallen was Wyoming’s top individual finisher, tying for
fifth with an eight-under 208.
“We’re certainly excited to host this event at one of the
top golf courses in the country,” UW head coach Joe Jensen said. “The staff
does a great job, the field is tough and it’s a course that all of our guys
have played. All five of our guys played well at times last week, so it’s a
matter of maintaining that and continuing to do what we do.”
The Pokes have played against some of the best teams in the
nation this season, and the field at the Cowboy Classic will be no different.
Six teams including UW rank in the NCAA top 100, with three in the top 50. No.
25 Arizona State and No. 28 Colorado will each send individuals, and No. 41
