DENVER – Wyoming men’s swimming and diving placed 11 student-athletes on the Western Athletic Conference’s 2017 Academic All-WAC list, the league announced today.

Patrick Jones was the only Cowboy senior to earn academic honors. Four juniors, Colin Brinkman, Wade Nelson, Jacob Porter and Slade Sheaffer, made the list along with six sophomores, Laine Johansen, Liam Metzsch, Kyle Moore, David Murphy, Ryan Russi, and Loren Sether.

The Cowboys’ 11 honorees were the second-most of any men’s swimming and diving program in the WAC.
